International Academic Collaborations
Faculty of Electrical Engineering at K.N. Toosi University of Technology (KNTU-EE) offers both degree programs and non-degree education in different fields of electrical engineering. Degree-based education at KNTU-EE includes B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. programs in six departments.
JOINT DEGREE PROGRAMS
The Faculty has had joint Ph.D. and Masters degree programs with its peers at the international level. As examples, one can point to the joint M.Sc. programs in Power Engineering and Biomedical Engineering with the Leibnitz University of Hannover (Germany) and Picardie University Jules Verne (France).
In the context of joint research at both Masters and Ph.D. levels, the Faculty has a long list of international collaborators namely: the University of Michigan, INRIA Research Institute (France), University of Picardie Jules Verne (France), École Polytechnique de Montréal (Canada), University of Laval (Canada), ETS (Canada), University of Dublin (Ireland), Fraunhofer Research Institute (Germany), University of Bremen (Germany), and ETH-Zurich, (Switzerland).
EXCHANGE OF EXPERTISE
Throughout the year, the Faculty hosts numerous scientific seminars, invited talks, and workshops presented by professionals from other countries. In exchange, Faculty members of KNTU-EE also take part in international scientific, technical, and professional events worldwide.
EXCHANGE OF STUDENTS
It is a tradition in KNTU-EE that students from other countries (mostly from neighboring countries) educate in its programs at different levels especially at the B.Sc. level. Some students of the Faculty, mostly at the Ph.D. level, spend part of their program in foreign universities.
